Superior University has become Pakistan’s number one private-sector university under the Times Higher Education Impact Ranking 2022.
One of the most renowned global performance tables, the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, evaluates universities against their commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals 2030 (SDGs).
This year’s THE Impact Rankings evaluated over 1,500 universities across 93 nations and regions, making them the biggest and most diverse university rankings to date.
Under THE Impact Rankings, universities are assessed on the basis of their activities to advance the SDGs both within and outside their communities.
Moreover, THE Impact Rankings inspect hundreds of data pieces and qualitative evidence to measure higher education institutions’ power in tackling pressing international concerns.
To celebrate this revolutionary success, Superior University conducted week-long celebrations that comprised cake-cutting ceremonies and numerous student-led activities at different campuses of the university.
The university arranged a marvelous event at its Raiwind Road Campus during the celebration week to celebrate the momentous achievement.
Meanwhile, Chairman Superior Group, Prof. Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Rehman, stated that this journey of excellence was initiated in 2017 with a vision to make Superior one of the best universities in Pakistan.
He added that this historic success would not have been accomplished without the grace of Allah Almighty and the devoted leadership of Principal, Superior University, Dr. Sumaira Rehman, who headed this journey toward global recognition with the confidence that educational institutions should make sustainable socio-economic influence to enable comprehensive communal development.
While addressing the event, Dr. Sumaira Rehman, said that Superior was implementing the Eyes High Research Vision 2025 to become the best research-oriented university in the county and advised the students and faculty members to keep on working hard to attain that goal.
She added that she owed this extraordinary achievement to her peerless guide Prof. Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Rehman and his kind instruction and boundless trust.
