Proton Holdings and Al-Haj Group has launched Proton Saga in Pakistan, launching virtual event took place on their official Facebook page.
Malaysian carmaker, Proton Holdings, has introduced three variants of the Proton Saga in the country. It includes the Standard Manual Transmission, Standard Automatic Transmission and the Ace Automatic Transmission. The company has also launched a fourth variant which is a limited edition (100 CBU units only) Proton Saga R3.
The Saga competes with the Honda City, Toyota Yaris and Changan Alsvin. Moreover, the car has a modest price tag which makes it a competitor of a few hatchback options as well that includes the Suzuki Swift, Suzuki Cultus AGS and the Kia Picanto. All are priced in the same way to the new sedan entrant.

The newly introduced model has come with a 1299cc engine, producing 91hp and 120Nm of torque. It offers options for both a manual and automatic transmission.

However, the Proton Saga R3 Limited Edition originates with a 1332cc engine and also offers manual and automatic transmission system.
