Pakistani furniture to be displayed at China Eurasia expo at Urumqi

Pakistan Furniture Council (PFC), in collaboration with Chenone, will take part in the ‘China-Eurasia expo’ which is to be held in Urumqi China on August 25-30 to display Pakistani products and explore new global markets. 

CEO of PFC Mian Kashif Ashfaq informed the media men that the 6-day expo will provide a golden opportunity to showcase a world-class range of Pakistani products and all other allied services. 

He noted that it was a platform for import and export mostly with several flexible patterns of trade. 

Mr. Ashfaq added that both PFC and Chenone will have a series of meetings with other multinationals and exchange their professional expertise with each other in order to further improve the quality of their products to strengthen trade in the field. 

He cited that a large number of other leading Pakistani companies were expected to participate which will be helpful in determining market potential and evaluating competition besides initiating joint ventures and project partnerships.

Moreover, Mr. Ashfaq also insisted Trade Development Authority of Pakistan to further organize a series of single-country expos in all major countries for the efficient and result-oriented promotion of Pakistani products which can compete internationally with their competitors in terms of their best quality. 

He believed that these Pakistani expos will be beneficial in finding out new partnerships to increase the volume of exports and enter into new joint ventures in their areas of interest. 

EXPO China-Eurasia is a global exhibition that has the participation of representatives of the state authorities of China, other Asian and European countries, and heads of international organizations. 

Under the framework of the 7th EXPO, exhibitions are planned in the following exhibition areas: the exhibition zone of investment cooperation, the international exhibition zone, and the exhibition zone of Macau, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, in addition to the exhibition zone of trade in goods.

During the exhibition, numerous events will also be dedicated to the construction of the fundamental area of the Silk Road Economic Belt, tourism and culture, digital economy, scientific and technical cooperation, cross-border e-commerce, medicine and healthcare, express logistics, and other areas.
