In a major good news for the manufacturers of the country, Pakistan exporters have received a large number of orders for face masks from different countries around the world.
US, Europe, and Canada have ordered Pakistan to export a large number of face masks. This news broke when Abdul Razak Dawood, the Advisor to the PM for Commerce and Investment said that some information regarding exporting face masks has been heard that has to be exported in a large amount to US, Europe, and Canada during coronavirus outbreak.
Abdul Razaq said, “It is part of our strategy to diversify into new segments and this has been achieved by the exporters through their own efforts. I am sharing this information with others to encourage them to seek more orders from different parts of the world”.
This large amount of order has been approved by the government and orders have been placed to export textile masks except N-95 masks across the world in order to earn foreign exchange for the country.
The advisor tweeted that “I have received information that some exporters have obtained large orders for face masks from US, Canada, and Europe. This is a major breakthrough and I congratulate them for this achievement.”
