Outgoing Chinese Envoy Yao Jing Paid Farewell Call On PM Imran Khan

The People of Pakistan are intensely looking forward for a warm welcome of Chinese President Xi Jinping, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan stated in a meeting with the Chinese ambassador Yao Jing, who paid a farewell call on him.

Pakistan’s premier Imran Khan admired the Chinese authority’s development for bringing a socio-economic revolution, furthermore, the premier also said that there is a lot to learn from Beijing’s efforts for eradicating poverty.

Prime Minister Imran Khan also praised the efforts of the Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing regarding strengthening the Pakistan and China “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership”.

The Premier said that during the Chinese Ambassador’s tenancy China Pakistan Economic Corridor moved towards its second phase and shifted the focus on agriculture, socio-economic development and industrialization.

The departing Ambassador said that PM Imran Khan’s focus on eradicating poverty from the country will bring a substantial change not just for the people of Pakistan but for the entire region.

Further talking about Federal Government achievements to cover the COVID-19 situation in Pakistan which got international recognition and other countries could adopt the Pakistani model. Jing said.

As a Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing said he would cherish memories of his stay in Pakistan and “I wish to see Pakistan-China relationship further strengthened.”

The Prime Minister of Pakistan also respected the work Yao Jing has done for the betterment of both countries and his contribution to further enhance the Pakistan-China partnership and wished him well for his future endeavors.

Yao Jing was appointed as a Chinese Ambassador in Pakistan in October 2017 and he leaves the seat in September 2020. This was Yao Jing’s third assignment in Pakistan.
