Prime Minister Imran Khan Advisor on Political Communication Shahbaz Gill has said that the Pakistan Muslim League-N Vice President Maryam Safdar has accepted in an interview that her father Nawaz Sharif was silent because Opposition Leader and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif was trying to make a deal with the establishment.

In a series of tweets, the premier advisor said that this is only the half-truth which was revealed at the moment by the VP of PML-N for the deal. Shahbaz Gill said he will come up with the full version of the story some other time.

While discussing the removal of opposition banner in the Gujranwala, Gill said the banners will be allowed to be installed on the poles or somewhere else after paying their dues to the municipality. The opposition and PML Nawaz is free to install their political banner after paying the fee, Shahbaz Gill said.

On the other side, he talked about allegations made by Pakistan People’s Party leader Qamar Zaman Kaira that police were arresting PPP followers/jiyalas from Gujranwala ahead of the opposition rally. While mocking Qamar Zaman Qaira, Shahbaz Gill said in a sarcastic tone that if the remarks of Qaira believed to be true, then Punjab Police must be appreciated in order to find jiyalas in Punjab province during present times.

The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is holding their first public meeting in Gujranwala and PML-N Information Secretary Maryam Aurangzeb said the public meeting will be decisive for the selected government.

Furthermore, she also said that the people who are coming to attend the gathering have offered their passports and CNICs for cancellation before PM cancels Nawaz Sharif’s passport and CNIC. She also mentioned that Imran Khan can cancel Nawaz Sharif documents, but not his power and influence.
