InstaKin startup connects overseas Pakistanis with families

A native startup InstaKin is conveniently connecting the overseas Pakistanis with their families back home, resolving the common however unattended disputes like attesting documents, paying utility bills, etc. from abroad.

Sharing the details with the media, InstaKin Founder and CEO Yasir Shirazi had the view that the initiative was also playing its part in the development of Pakistan’s economy by generating thousands of job opportunities.

He continued that mobile application InstaKin was propelled “to solve real-life problems” challenged by Pakistanis living abroad. He highlighted that the absence of reliable platforms in this area was the motivating force behind the startup idea.

Furthermore,  Shirazi exposed that he sensed the necessity for such an application when he was residing abroad.

“Over time, l realized that every time I needed to manage tasks back home, it was a difficult process,” he remarked.

“Delays were common, from paying family bills to getting documents attested, and running other last-mile tasks for family and myself,” he added.

Shirazi underscored that no trustworthy application was available that could connect an individual abroad with such different types of services.

“The vision is to build a global one-stop-shop platform for diaspora members globally,” he said.

Regarding the extension plan, he informed that the InstaKin application would start offering services to other countries as well, calling it a global platform that is in progress with the Pakistani market.

The community-oriented podium did not charge the users – foreign Pakistanis – any payment, he said, revealing that the payment was received from authorized vendors.

 “Going further, around 250 million migrants globally, who live away from their home, can benefit from the services,” he said.

“The startup has more than 30 employees,” Shirazi said, continuing that a lot of people all over the country were indirectly employed through distributors and vendors.

“It is part of our mission to create more jobs in Pakistan and reduce unemployment,” he said.

“The platform will create more than 3,000 new jobs directly and via our vendor network over the next two years,” he revealed.
