From queue to clicks: Pakistan steps towards digital revolution. The mobile app under the name of City Islamabad is changing how things work.

The National Information Technology Board (NITB) urges citizens of Islamabad to get benefit from technology and avail the premium service at their doorsteps. The authorities launched a new android mobile application named as City Islamabad App.

The app contains everything which a normal citizen required in order to live a smooth life. Water bill, yearly property tax, excise and taxation, utility bills can be paid through this application.

Update: Online token tax services through City Islamabad App will remain unavailable for a few days due to maintenance and system up-gradation according to the National Information Technology Board (NITB).

National Information Technology Board (NITB) is a department that works under the umbrella of the Ministry of Information Technology. The NITB shared the news via tweet “ Multiple Citizen Services Integration on one platform| Available only in City Islamabad App. Download the app now. Developed, Designed & Maintained Exclusively by @NationalITBoard for ICT Administration @dcislamabad.”

The City Islamabad App contains a wide range of public services which everyone uses in their daily life. Along with property tax collection, water bill, utility bill, excise, and taxation there are other features also integrated into the app such as e-police, CDA, e-NADRA, City guide, Domicile certificate, International driving permits, Token tax payment, Vehicle registration, and other valuable services.

The app is considered to be very beneficial and helpful for the natives in every field. Citizens will be free from stress, struggle, difficulty and everything will be available in just one click.

Now get easy access to main and important public services and department of the capital city with a few taps from your mobile.

The app on Android play store is downloaded over 50,000 times at the moment.
