As the majority of people do not count till 20 seconds while washing their hands during this coronavirus pandemic and looking at the increase in coronavirus patients, Apple introduced another caring feature after socially distant group selfie for its users in which Apple Watch will make sure you are washing your hands regularly or not.
During in latest virtual Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple revealed its latest Apple Watch operating system named WatchOS 7. Apart from many new exciting features, Apple introduced a valuable new feature that does not just secure a person wearing Apple Watch but is also useful for the whole society. The latest feature of the company is known as Automatic Handwashing Detection. Apple watch will automatically start counting while you are washing your hand.
It is a tool from Apple to make people aware and encourage people to follow the health guidelines issued by the World Health Organization (WHO). Washing hands frequently will help prevent spreading the coronavirus.
The bubbly animation on Apple’s wristwatch displayed while washing hands is fun to watch. While washing hands if you complete the count you will receive a “Well done” message and if you did not do it for 20 seconds the watch will prompt you to carry on with the wash. Sound and motion detection along with machine learning technique is being used by Apple.
Apple advertised its watch by the punchline “ultimate guardian for your health”. Now with the latest Apple Watch corona-prevention feature to make sure you wash your hands for 20 seconds, it will be helpful in the safety and protection of the whole community.
