Sindh to convert school into isolation center: Qamar

Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar, the special assistant to CM Sindh on the department of empowerment of persons with disabilities on Tuesday addressed to the local administration and officials of Tando Muhammad Khan Health department and said to convert the comprehensive high school Tando Muhammad khan into an isolation center for coronavirus infected patients.

He further said that the isolation center should be functional within 48 hours. Some other officers were also present like Municipal Chairman Syed Shahnawaz Shahab Bukhari, District Officer Dr. Muhammad Yusuf Farhan Shah, and SSP Abid Ali Baluch.

He also said that the provincial government has eased the lockdown in view of the issues of people and the lowering of the economy due to the threat of coronavirus. Now people should be aware to follow all the governmental SOPs and concerned authorities need to be vigilant.

Mr. Qasim Naveed highlighted the issue of local transmission of coronavirus rapidly increasing, therefore strictness in the policy of social distancing has become a mandatory part. Farhan Shah donated television set for the isolation center while Qasim Naveed was inspecting the school to convert it into isolation center.
