teachers deployment formula

After the Single National Curriculum, the Punjab Education Ministry has fixed the formula for the deployment of school teachers in all categories.

According to this curriculum, the ministry has fixed the number of periods a teacher might take in a week. All SS teachers will take 28 and PET teachers will take 28 periods in a week. Correspondingly, ESE and SE educators will take 36 periods while SST and SSE teachers take 33 periods in a week.

Moreover, it has also been decided that headmasters and senior headmasters in middle schools and community model institutions will take 18 classes weekly. Additionally, there will be two PSTs for every 60 students in primary schools while an additional educator will be deployed if the strength of the students exceeds the standard limit.

The government has also decided to revive transfers depending upon mutual consultation, marriage, divorce, and disability from September 1.

Furthermore, the Rawalpindi District Authority has decided to promote all primary school teachers under 50% in the service promotion quota.

According to this, the promotions will be given to the elementary school teachers holding MA, MSc, BSc, BEd, and Med performing regular service until July 31.

For this, a committee consisting of five members, under the supervision of Senior Headmaster Ziaullah Abbasi, has been made to examine the seniority lists at the district level.

Once the inquiry of the seniority lists is finalized, the meeting of the district promotional committee will be called. About 700 candidates will be observed for these promotions.
