PM Khan inaugurates Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute in Haripur

Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute

On Thursday, Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute in Haripur for Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST). The institution has been established with the collaboration of Austria for promoting the education of artificial intelligence (AI) and engineering.

Earlier in the day, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Asim Saleem Bajwa announced that PM Imran Khan will inaugurate the Pakistan-Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology in Haripur today.

He took to twitter and posted, “Monumental: Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences & technology in Haripur to be inaugurated by @ImranKhanPTI today.Reflects vision of state of the art Science&tech education infrastructure/broad based industrial/knowledge based economy. #PakistanMovingForward.”

Mr. Prime Minister while addressing in the inauguration ceremony of PAF-IAST said that he wanted to spend money on the education sector, the money that has been recovered from corrupt people. He said that the federal government wants to utilize resources on promoting education in Pakistan. Then he advised everyone present there to choose the path that can lead Pakistan into a great nation, saying this is how Allah will give success to everyone who honestly pursues the target.

He added that Pakistan can make their ways and they have their capabilities to advance into the development phase by changing the way of thinking. Stepping forward in the field of science and technology for opening a new era of development in Pakistan is the need of time.

In the end, he thanked Austria and China for assisting the authorities in Pakistan as the establishment of the Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute was an important project of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government.
