Pakistan to exhibit products in 18th China-ASEAN Expo with 28 booths

Pakistan will showcase its national image and organize 15 Pakistani companies to exhibit their specialty products of the country with 28 booths at the upcoming 18th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) which is to be conducted in Nanning from September 10 to 13. 

Pakistan traders and businessmen will showcase various Pakistani products especially jewelry, precious stones, marble, carpets, furniture, handicrafts, and sports goods during the exhibition.

The expo is presented by the branches in charge of the economic expansion and trade in China and other 10 ASEAN countries in association with the ASEAN Secretariat.

As an honor, Pakistan will again partake in this 2021 expo as a Special Partner Country. The country appeared the 17th CAEXPO with the same honorary title. Pakistan is one of the countries along the Belt and Road and a topographical neighbor to the ASEAN countries. Since a long time, Pakistan has enthusiastically joined the CAEXPO, with the help of which it boosts up its exchange and cooperation with China and other countries along the Belt and Road. 

Besides this, the year 2021 marks the 70th anniversary of the formation of ambassadorial bonds between the two countries. 

By grabbing the cooperative and business opportunities of the 18th CAEXPO, Pakistan will entirely showcase its countrywide image and further indorse its exchange and cooperation with China and the ASEAN countries. 

Moreover, the CAEXPO will implement a diverse model of “Physical + On-line CAEXPO” to anchor proceedings in carnival of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the 2021 Forum on China-Pakistan Financial and Trade Collaboration to further progress the comprehensive growth of the China-Pakistan partnership. 

Furthermore, the purpose of expo is to increase from serving China and 10 ASEAN countries to encouraging RCEP and the Belt and Road Initiative and spreading to the rest of the world. 

The highlights of this year’s CAEXPO consist of physical exhibitions with the same exhibition area size of last CAEXPO at 102,000 square meters. 

Approximately 12,000 square meters exhibition area will be allotted to the exhibitors of the 10 ASEAN countries and every ASEAN country intend to have their own exhibition area as usual.
