Imran Khan launches Ehsaas Rashan portal, Langar, Panagah apps, PM Corona website

On Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan launched Ehsaas Langar, including Ehsaas Rashaan portal, PM Corona Relief Fund website and, Panagah apps to make sure the better coordination among the civil society and the government is facing problems due to pandemic of coronavirus.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan says smart lockdown being implemented in COVID-19 hotspots across the country to protect the most vulnerable people as next month is predicted to be highly difficult to tackle.

While speaking in a meeting he said, “The government is implementing smart lockdown in coronavirus hotspots of the country to protect mainly the most vulnerable people.”

Imran Khan added that the next one month is difficult for dealing with the Covid-19. The government is trying to provide confidence to the donors regarding the transparency of the donation with the launch of concerned websites and applications.

He further said the elderly people and those already suffering from serious diseases are the most vulnerable people; if they are protected against coronavirus, the impact of the pandemic will get considerably reduced.

About Panagah, Imran Khan said, the number of shelter homes would be incrementally increased in future to accommodate large number of deserving people.

The list of all beneficiaries will be launched as the Ehsas program firmly roots in transparency. Then PM appreciated the efforts of Dr. Sania Nishtar and her whole team for the achievements of the Ehsaas cash program under which cash was shifted in an efficient way. This cash helped many deserving people in these hard times.

The PM COVID relief website has also been formally launched.
