Low-cost carrier Fly Jinnah unveils brand identity as it moves closer to launch

At present, there are three private airlines, operating in Pakistan. Fly Jinnah, with the abbreviation ‘FJ’, has come ahead as a fourth private airline in the country.

The emerging airline revealed its visual brand identity on Wednesday. Its brand values are offering customers true value and connecting communities across the globe, Sincerity, honesty, and willingness to achieve and grow while striving to improve; and inventiveness – crafting creative solutions while remaining focused, practical and efficient. The airline, incorporated in Pakistan is majority-owned by Pakistanis who are sponsors of the reputed Lakson Group.

While addressing the launching ceremony, Iqbal Ali Lakhani, the Chairman of the airline said, “Fly Jinnah will not only serve Pakistan’s aviation industry but it also aims to contribute to the country’s infrastructure, tourism, business travel, and the creation of new jobs. Fly Jinnah will be a catalyst to the country’s economic growth. We are proud to have Air Arabia Group, the Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) operator as our minority partners in this venture and are confident of the quality of services that our customers will receive.”

Lakson Group and Air Arabia Group had announced their decision of starting the airline in Pakistan in September 2021. The Joint venture will follow the low-cost business model. The details about the launching date, fleets, and destination, etc. will be announced in due course. Initially, the airline will be based in Karachi and will start its operation domestically but in the next phase, the flight operation will expand globally.

The Chairman of Fly Jinnah said that the process of taking the air operator’s certificate is on the way and as and when it is completed, the flight activities will start. Government is fully confident about the economic growth of the country as all the big three sectors’ performance is up to the mark, the addition of a new airline in the economic activities seems to be a very good sign on the national horizon.

Iqbal Ali Lakhani further said, “The aviation industry is an economic engine and a crucial sector for sustainable development. Investment in aviation also provides significant social benefits by providing our citizens with reliable access to air transport that improves the quality of life.”
