According to a statement released on Wednesday, the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) organized an education campaign to educate business entrepreneurs on how to sell their products on Amazon platform.
Mian Nasser Hyatt Maggo, FPCCI president, welcomed the e-commerce trainers and practitioners to the Federation House to educate and train businessmen and entrepreneurs on how to get started and effectively sell globally using Amazon’s platform.
The FPCCI president shared his delight at the fact that top talent from Pakistan and abroad attended the seminar and gave presentations based on real-world experiences and success stories.
He thanked the attendees for making the awareness session a success, calling it “one of the best since Amazon re-included Pakistan in its official sellers list,” according to the FPCCI statement.
According to Maggo, Pakistan has the ability to sell billions of dollars worth of products worldwide, including textiles, hosiery, handicrafts, toys, gift items, cultural products, cutlery and crockery, sports goods, hygiene products, books, plastic products, and many others.
He expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Commerce, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), and Amazon for allowing Pakistani entrepreneurs to resume selling on Amazon’s platform.
Maggo also offered the FPCCI’s assistance in making the most of the chance. E-commerce leaders from Pakistan as well as representatives from related businesses such as financial institutions, internet and other digital service providers, university researchers, and others attended the awareness workshop.
The FPCCI’s vice-president, Ather Sultan Chawla, stated that the apex trade organisation is devoted to assisting businesses in tapping new markets and diversifying their revenue streams through the use of digital platforms, and that Amazon is the finest platform for selling abroad.
