Sexual Abuse of a Mentally-Challenged Minor

In a grim turn of events, authorities have taken two men into custody over allegations of sexually abusing a 15-year-old mentally-challenged girl for an extended period of five months. The arrests followed the formal filing of a complaint by the victim’s father at a local police station. The accused, identified as Umair and Ateeq, are both residents of Badhora and are alleged to have carried out the series of assaults on the outskirts of Beer, Badhora. 

The incident came to light when the victim’s father discovered the shocking acts, identifying the culprits involved. In response, he filed an official complaint at the Beer police station, necessitating immediate action from the local law enforcement authorities. In response to the complaint, Station House Officer (SHO) Khalid Rehman summoned both the victim and her father to the police station to document their statements. Following a preliminary investigation into the allegations, both suspects were taken into custody. 

The young victim is currently receiving medical care at the Haripur Trauma Centre. The police, meanwhile, have assured the family of their full support and cooperation throughout the process of investigating and resolving this tragic case.
