The Sindh Government has formally confirmed the much-anticipated summer vacation dates for educational institutions across the province. An enjoyable two-month break for students and teachers is set to start on June 1, concluding on July 31, with schools and colleges resuming operations on August 1.
The decision was reached in a steering committee meeting on education, involving key educational officials. The committee’s deliberations covered a range of issues related to the academic calendar, with the decision on summer vacation dates receiving unanimous support.
This directive ensures that both public and private educational establishments, operating under the administrative jurisdiction of the School Education and Literacy Department Government of Sindh, adhere to the specified vacation schedule.
The intention behind this sanctioned break is to afford students and educators an opportunity to rest, rejuvenate and enjoy quality family time.
During this recess, the government encourages students to partake in activities conducive to personal development. These can include reading, pursuing hobbies, and engaging in various recreational activities. This period serves as a chance for students and faculty alike to recharge before the commencement of the new academic year in August.
