Sit-in Protest by PML-N and JUI-F Disrupts Law and Order in Pakistan

A disturbance in the law and order situation has emerged in Pakistan as the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Jamiyat Ulama-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) announced a sit-in protest. Followers of both parties have gathered at various main avenues in the twin cities, leading to significant traffic congestion and disruptions in key areas.

The sit-in protest has resulted in traffic jams in areas such as the Red Zone, Koral Interchange, Faizabad Interchange, Murree Road, and Srinagar Highway. Travelers heading towards Islamabad are advised to avoid D-Chowk and the surrounding areas of the Red Zone, as these locations have witnessed a large gathering of protestors. Despite the implementation of Section 144, the authorities have not yet taken substantial action against the ongoing protests.

It is important to note that this is a developing story, and the situation is subject to rapid changes. It is expected that more representatives will join the sit-in protest at the Red Zone, indicating that the demonstrations may continue for several days. Travelers are strongly advised to plan their journeys accordingly, taking into consideration the potential disruptions caused by the ongoing protests.
