Shadab returns as Pakistan announce squad for West Indies ODIs

West Indies

Selectors announced on Monday that all-rounders Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz have been recalled to Pakistan’s team for the one-day international series against the West Indies next month.

Shadab, 23, and Nawaz, 28, both played in Pakistan’s Twenty20 series against the Windies in December but have been injured since then.

Rawalpindi will host the three-match series against the Windies on June 8, 10, and 12.

The ODIs were supposed to be part of the West Indies’ tour to Pakistan in 2021, but they were postponed due to an outbreak of Covid cases in the visitors’ camp.
