Pakistan Will Enter 150 Goods Trucks to Afghanistan Daily

The official meeting at the Torkham border on Tuesday between administrative officials and security has decided the addition in a number of trucks going to Afghanistan.

A coordination meeting between administrative officials and security has increased the number of goods trucks going to Afghanistan, the number has been increased to 150 along with the improved protective measures against the virus at the crossing of the border. The meeting was presided by sector commander Brig Shaukat Rana. Deputy Commissioner Mehmud Aslam Wazir, DPO Muhammad Iqbal, Commander Khyber Rifles Col Bilal, and NLC, representatives of transporters and officials and customs also attended the meeting.

Repeated complaints had been received concerning the issue of the slow process of customs clearance of trade goods to Afghanistan. Finally, the decision was taken to increase the total number of goods trucks to 150 instead of 100 on a daily basis.

The meeting also decided and ended up by asking the district administration to repair the road between Nadra chowk near border nearby Bacha Maina in order to have a smooth flow of heavy traffic.
