Everything was planned to set the record numbers of cars in a drive-in music concert before the organizers approached the Guinness World Records team.

Initially, the organizers set a minimum of 1,000 cars target in the show, however there were more than 1,500 cars counted at the concert.

As the concert moves towards the ending, the official representative from the Guinness World Records Jack Brockbank stated that the minimum threshold set by the organizers is exceeded and I am officially declaring a new Guinness World Record title.

During the pandemic, drive-in musical events became popular, allowing people to see their favourite stars performing while staying protected in their cars.

To see the performance, visitors may either stay in their cars or sit on the roof or hood. There were also food stalls and bonfires.

Because of the coronavirus outbreak, Pakistan’s top rock musician Azmat thrilled the crowd with his first concert in two years.

The evening came to a close with a long-awaited performance by Aslam, who sang a number of his iconic songs, along with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan classics as a tribute to the qawwali legend.

Asif Aziz, chief commercial officer at Jazz said, “Creating a new world record is a wonderful achievement for us all and it’s heartening to see the enthusiasm shown by the residents of the twin cities to be part of this momentous occasion”.
