Oppo Reno 5 5G Series Launched With 64MP Quad Cameras and 90Hz Displays

Reno 5 5G

Reno 5 5G series was long awaited after the launch of Oppo’s Reno 4 series earlier this year. Oppo has only listed the vanilla and Pro models of the new series that are almost similar, like most of the company’s smartphone line-ups. However, the chipset is the primary difference between the two versions. As usual, a Snapdragon chipset powers the toned-down edition.

Design and Display

Both smartphones look similar. They come with a rectangular camera aisle housing a setup for a quad-sensor camera.

The Pro model is fitted with a larger 6.55-inch screen on the front, while a 6.43-inch panel is for the vanilla handset.

In the Reno 5 5G Vanilla and Pro smartphones, both smartphones bear a similar camera setup. The 64 MP main module with f/1.7 aperture and electronic image stabilization is fitted with a quad-sensor rear camera system (EIS).

The smartphones feature a single sensor shooter of 32 MP for selfies. It is accompanied by an ultra-wide-angle camera with 8MP and two modules with 2MP.
