Prime Minister Imran Khan has inaugurated the new model of Panagahs being constructed in Islamabad Capital Territory having better-quality standards and structure.
Under the special orders of the Prime Minister, the four new Panagahs are being constructed in Tarnol, Tarlai, G-9, and Mandi More parts of Islamabad head-to-head with the existing facilities.
Moreover, Imran Khan also revealed the final strategies of these multistoried Panagahs to be built.
He praised CDA, NCA, Ehsaas team, and all concerned for their cooperative struggles and initiated to ensure the quick implementation of new model Panagahs.
Speaking at the occasion, the Prime Minister emphasized the significance of delivery of quality food and provision at the Panagahs. He commanded the related departments to deliver Ehsaas services at the Panagahs and also stressed upon offering skill development teaching at the Panagahs allowing the citizens to become contributing residents in the society.
Besides, the Prime Minister cherished the cooperative struggles of the involved departments and ordered them to duplicate the model in the provinces on the same line.
Previously, SAPM Senator Dr. Sania Nishtar informed the PM on the new strategic plan of Panagahs comprising construction, governance, furnishing, digital monitoring, execution, capacity building, and financing.
She further informed that along with ‘bed breakfast and meals’ facilities for laborers, these Panagahs will also have Ehsaas One Window Centers, to assist laborers and the deprived class to help from the government’s social prosperity programs.
Earlier, CDA has designated land on concessional rates to the Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division in this regard after Cabinet approval.
Additionally, Imran Khan also disclosed the plaque and the new model of Panagah. To reshape the construction of model Panagah and furniture, Ehsaas has cooperated with the National College of Arts Lahore.
The design of the new Panagah contains a bigger kitchen, cold storage, lobby, reception, waiting areas, and improved size to offer food and shelter to those in need.
