Daraz and Pakistan’s first EdTech startup Extreme Commerce have joined hands for e-commerce and digital trade. The partnership will help Daraz sellers to expand their enterprise further and improve their online selling skills.
Daraz is an online marketplace and logistic company that started its work in Pakistan in 2012. Other than Pakistan, it also operates in some other countries of South Asia and Southeast Asia. It was possessed by the Alibaba group of China in 2018.
Omair Bakhsh, head of Marketing at Daraz in Pakistan says, “Adaptability to e-commerce has increased in the past few months and an increased number of sellers are moving towards online selling to make a stable living for themselves. We take complete responsibility to train the seller community and equip them with the right skill for their business growth. Daraz has always focused on seller education as a core and with this partnership, we are taking an additional step to create value for our sellers and buyers along with improving customer experience.”

Daraz is planning to design specialized training courses for the sellers based on digital trade, data analysis, and other innovations about trading in e-commerce. So far, Daraz has trained more than 100,000 sellers to improve their performance in the digital business.
