British Council Unveils Women in STEM Scholarship Program

The British Council has proudly announced the initiation of its scholarship program, Women in STEM, designed to inspire women who have earned a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and have a deep-seated passion for their chosen field. The program’s key goal is to offer noteworthy scholarships to those eager to pursue master’s degrees in STEM disciplines at highly regarded universities in the United Kingdom (UK).

Now entering its third year, the Women in STEM scholarship program is a collaboration between the British Council and 21 prominent UK universities. It strives to uplift and empower women from diverse regions, including the Americas, South Asia, East Asia, the western Balkans, central Asia, Brazil, Egypt, Mexico, and Turkey.

A significant determinant for selection is the evident demonstration of financial necessity, coupled with a heartfelt desire to motivate future generations of women to venture into STEM careers.

For Pakistani applicants, both master’s Scholarships and Early Academic Fellowships are available under the Women in STEM program.
