Balochistan to establish four industrial zones and create 300,000 local jobs

The Balochistan government has announced the establishment of four industrial zones at Dalbandin, Turbat, Muslim Bagh, and Chaman for the enhancement of economic activities across the province. 

During a media briefing, an official stated that the government was taking all possible measures to lift the industrial sector of the province to provide job opportunities for the youth. 

He publicized that the government has assigned land for industrial areas and the development works would be kicked off in near future.  

He insisted the investors increase their investment in the industrial and technology sector of the province.  Under the headship of Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, the Balochistan government was taking amicable actions for the development and the consequences would appear in the recent future, he further remarked.

“With the establishment of industrial zones, it would help create employment opportunities for 300,000 locals, and the entire province would benefit from its associated benefits,” the official added. 

Moreover, the government has constructed more than 3732 km of roads in its tenure to facilitate the masses of the province by providing better communication facilities to them. 

The government is taking all-out actions to boost the industrial sector to provide jobs for the youth of the country. 

He further said that the provincial government had decided to accelerate development work on special economic sectors to increase major economic activities in the province. 

He said the government was well-aware of the importance of the economy and in this regard, it had started the development work on eight special economic zones with the association of the federal government. Balochistan was enriched with mineral reserves so the provincial government had declared three districts as marble cities to facilitate the stockholders and help empower underprivileged residents economically, he added. The provincial assets and other capitals would be consumed for the progress and prosperity of the people under proper planning, he said.
