Sirbaz and Shehroze

Pakistani mountaineers Sirbaz Ali and Shehroze Kashif achieved another landmark on Saturday morning when the duo summited 8,463m Mt Makalu in Nepal, the fifth highest peak in the world.

Pakistani youngest climber Shehroze Kashif shared on his Instagram account, “And with this, at the age of 20 years, The Broad Boy has become the Youngest Mountaineer in the whole World to summit Top 5 highest peaks of the world i.e. Everest 8849meter, K2 8611meter, Kanchenjunga 8586m, Lhotse 8516meter and now Makalu 8463meter.”

Kashif is the only Pakistani to have scaled 3X8000ers within 23 days.

Earlier, he also has the honor to become the Youngest Mountaineer in the world to scale Kanchenjunga 8586 meter- the world’s third-highest mountain.

Besides, Shehroze also made a world record by becoming the Youngest Mountaineer in the world to summit the four highest peaks of the world i.e. Mount Everest 8849meter, K2 8611meter, Kanchenjunga 8586meter, and Lhotse 8516meter. Kashif has made more history by raising the green flag as the first-ever Pakistani on the peak of Kanchenjunga 8586meter.

Confirming the summit by 33-year-old Sirbaz Ali Khan along side Shehroze, his expedition manager Saad Munawar said the Hunzaite scaled Mt. Makalu without use of supplementary oxygen.

Last year in July, at the age of 19, Kashif scaled K2, the second-highest peak in the world. He summited the 8,611-metre high peak with the help of bottled oxygen. Before Kashif Shehzore, Sajid Sadpara, the son of the renowned mountaineer Muhammad Ali Sadpara, was the youngest one to have ascended K2 at the age of 20.

The passionate hiker first started his climbing journey at the age of 11, scaling the Makra Peak (3,885meter). Afterward, he aced Musa ka Massalah (4,080meter) at the age of 12, followed by the Chembra Peak (4,600meter).

Similarly, at 17, Kashif climbed Broad peak (8,047meter) receiving the title ‘The Broad Boy’, and reached the top of Khusar Gang-Alpine Style (6,050meter) at 18 years of age.

Currently, Shehroze is in Nepal and has accomplished his Expedition 3.4.5 by summiting Makalu 8463 meter with Sirbaz Ali.
