Karachi is turning into a lively city in which many social and cultural events are taking place on regular basis. The city is one of the most peaceful cities in the world, views expressed by Japanese Consul General Toshikazu Isomura.
During the inauguration of a newly renovated restaurant, Killay, of a local hotel, Toshikazu Isomura praised the largest city of Pakistan, as per the statement released on Sunday.
According to the Japanese envoy, the overseas diplomats posted in Karachi catch it as a comforting city and lively town as a number of social gatherings and cultural events are held regularly. Isomura stated he was struggling to improve people-to-people communication between Pakistan and Japan, along with assisting economic and trade activities.
Japanese Consul General further said Killay would deliver people with hitherto a new entertaining spot. He said he was a lover of native biryani and mutton dishes.
Additionally, Bangladeshi Deputy High Commissioner Mohammed Atiqur Rahman said Bangladesh and Pakistan were friendly countries sharing mutual morals and history. He said associations between the two countries would reach new levels with the passage of time. He further said that he had adored the cuisine at Killay.
During the meeting, acting Turkish Consul General Uzay Ozturk was also present, in addition to diplomatic staff from the embassies of Indonesia and Russia. Renowned dental surgeon Dr. Mohammed Altamash communicated at the event that the food quality served in the hotel was second to none and the over 25 dishes offered in Killay restaurant gave customers a wide choice.
Moreover, actress Bin Chaudhri voiced the desserts offered in Killay restaurant were second to none. General Manager, Hotel Mehran, Rehan Peerzada, uttered the hotel safeguarded total luxury of its visitants. The restoration of Killay restaurant and improving its buffet spread is part of their modernizing efforts, he said. The hotel is a must-visit place on people’s social calendar, he added.
