Gandhara University is a private university in Peshawar that was chartered by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and is registered with the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan under category “W.”

Gandhara University is a respected academic institution led by a group of devoted professionals and academicians who have served as Heads of their respective Specialties and Departments in public institutions and colleges for 25-30 years. Gandhara University is dedicated to improving educational quality and producing high-class doctors, pharmacists, engineers, IT specialists, nurses, and paramedical workers who will contribute to the country’s progress.

Pakistani medical education has traditionally been regarded as outstanding. Many of our Medical and Dental students have made a name for themselves both in the United States and abroad. Since its founding, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, Islamabad, has recognised Kabir Medical College for MBBS and Sardar Begum Dental College for BDS (1995).

ADMISSIONS:-
For admission to MBBS/BDS, all applicants must meet the PMC requirements. Candidate who has passed a Board of Higher Secondary Education’s (F.Sc) Intermediate Science/ HSSC Examination (pre-medical group) with at least 65 percent aggregate, unadjusted marks. Will be eligible to apply for MBBS/BDS admission.
Any student seeking admission to a medical or dental college in Pakistan must pass the MDCAT examination administered by the Pakistan Medical Commission.
The MDCAT examination will require a passing score of 60%.
A student who has completed the MDCAT exam and has a grade point average of 65 percent or higher on the F.Sc or equivalent exam is qualified for admission to a medical or dental college.
