Khawaja Freed University of Engineering & Information Technology

The construction of the country’s first Engineering and Information Technology University in Rahim Yar Khan is unquestionably a boon for the people of Southern Punjab, Northern Sindh, and North Eastern Baluchistan. The Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology (KFUEIT) Rahim Yar Khan was founded in 2014 under the Punjab Assembly Act with only four rooms, five faculty members, and four degree programmes.

This university is an even bigger blessing for ladies, because many of the degree programmes are specifically tailored to female students’ educational goals and future activities. The year 2019 is likewise expected to be a successful one for KFUEIT. Following the Fall 2019 admissions, KFUEIT will become one of the country’s premier universities, with 16 departments, 94 degree programmes, over 100 PhD-qualified staff members, and over 10,000 students currently studying in University.

On the one hand, KFUEIT is working hard to become a top-tier institution in the country in the shortest period feasible; on the other hand, the acute financial crisis that has hit the university in the previous year has had a negative impact on its progress. With the paucity and non-release of critical government money for universities, achieving aggressive targets appears to be challenging. Despite all difficulties, the university’s leadership strives for the holistic development of students in addition to academic brilliance, and has never sacrificed extracurricular activities in the process.

LIBRARY:-

Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology’s library was originally housed in a refurbished 700-square-meter hall. Six full-time librarians and four part-time employees work at the library now. The library now boasts a collection of 20,000 books, including 7,000 titles. Library services are accessible in two buildings: the Civil Engineering and the CS&IT.
