GIKI graduates develop Pakistan’s first online shopping search engine

Pakistan is going through a lockdown phase for the last three months due to coronavirus pandemic. Now that the government has imposed lockdown across the country, this condition has led many sufferings and many problems for the countrymen. One of the biggest worries is the problem of buying daily requirements, eatables, etc.

Almost all markets and malls are closed and some of the shops that are opened are selling illicitly at high prices. In this condition, the whole country needs a platform where they can get everything that is needed online. So, the GIKI graduates made an online shopping search engine “Shoppingum.com”.

Two graduates of GIKI, Muhammad Bilal Jamil and Syed Ali Haider, brilliant minds did remarkable work by building a website called Shoppingum.com.

It is Pakistan’s only and biggest real-time online search engine. It has more than 3.2 million products, across 210 Pakistani online shopping stores. It provides all types of products i.e. first or second-tier products with the finest quality.

Also, it has the feature of a magical filter option that can tell the same product’s rates from other online stores. In this way, costumers can have the idea of the same product price in the market.

It works for 24 hours. Shopping is quite easy from this website that the users can put their orders anywhere anytime.
